A two-alarm fire broke out early this morning displacing 26 residents from their three-story building at 22nd and Dolores streets.
Firefighters arrived at the scene at 1:06 a.m., and had the fire controlled by 1:54 a.m., according to
press reports.
Though there have been no reports of injuries so far, the Red Cross was notified to help the groggy and now homeless residents, a Fire Department spokesperson said. An arson unit was also sent to the building to investigate how the fire sparked.
We have a call in to the Fire Department and will update you when we know more. Check back with us later.
