Here's something to like: Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is slated to give his first onstage interview since May in San Francisco next week.
The man and his the hoodie will reportedly regale his fellow Facebookers (and annoyed investors?) on Sept. 11 at 2 p .m. at TechCrunch Disrupt SF -- a technology convention that showcases startups, speakers, hackers, and the general nerd.
He might talk about the company's future, especially after its stock value plummeted much to investors chagrin. Or he just might keep it light and confab about the free speech fight on behalf of the like button. In any case, techies will certainly be hanging on every word the Silicon Valley prince utters.
Disrupt SF runs from Sept. 8 to 12 at the Concourse at San Francisco Design Center. But you have to have created something as profitable as Facebook (or be a lowly press-pass-bearing reporter) to afford entrance to the five-day convention, where tickets start at $2,995. TechCrunch will give 300 lucky students a 90 percent discount, though; still, they can't attend the event for less than $300. Go here to find out more.
