A 59-year-old man is clinging on to life today after he was stabbed in the neck for unknown reasons.
Police were called to the intersection of Sixth and Mission streets just before 1 a.m. today where they found the victim bleeding from the neck. The man, who was not identified, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect ran off after the knifing incident and is still on the lam, police said. He was only described as a man in his 50s.
