A 27-year-old woman was attacked last night as she walked through the city's Russian Hill neighborhood.

At about 10:30 p.m., the victim was on the corner of Larkin and Greenwich streets when an unknown man walked up to her and pepper-sprayed her in the face. And when that didn't work, the robber started punching the woman in the face and the head, Officer Albie Esparza said.

The man grabbed her mp3 player, credit cards, and money before hopping in a tan car and speeding off.

The woman, who suffered minor injuries, was unable to give the cops a full description of the suspect other than he was a black man between the ages of 20 and 25.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
