San Francisco police are looking for a person who looks kind of like this dude to your right in connection to the mysterious homicide of 28-year-old Steven "Eriq" Escalon.

On June 12, Escalon's body was found, bound and gagged, inside his apartment on the 5000 block of Diamond Heights Boulevard. The person of interest was seen with Escalon the night before he was found; the two were seen getting into a taxi in front of 440 Castro Street about 1:30 a.m.

After his body was found, police papered the area, asking for the public's help in identifying a

person who might have been carrying a flat screen television, computers, and a game console around the time Escalon was killed.

Still, police have remained tight-lipped about how Escalon, who was a popular hairdresser on Market Street, died.

The person of interest is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, slim build, and approximately 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-10. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.

The San Francisco Police Department's Homicide Unit is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the person depicted in this sketch. Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact Sgt. Scott Warnke, or Inspectors Daniel Dedet, Kevin Jones, and Robert Valverde at the Homicide Unit, 553-1145. People who wish to leave an anonymous tip may call the Anonymous Tip Line at 575-4444, or text a tip to TIP411.

A Facebook page has been created where you can donate to funds to help create a scholarship in memory of Escalon.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
