The rivalry between Los Angeles and San Francisco is most obviously felt any time the Dodgers come into town, or vice versa. But because we can't base everything on baseball, StumbleUpon has given us these new benchmarks to determine which city is hipper.

If you are a recent California transplant who bought a one-way ticket from Nowhere, Kansas, to San Francisco, then you've probably already done your research. As for the rest of you, who have been binging on burritos in San Francisco for the last decade -- we know how you have honed your hatred for SoCal. So here's a reality check. StumbleUpon analyzed millions of websites scoured by Los Angeles and San Francisco users and came up with a G-rated infographic that would help a 5-year-old determine which city is more chic.

Coffee: In Los Angeles, you are going to be stuck on (the) 405 for a while, so there's no time to wait around for your barista to draw cute little hearts and other shit in your latte foam. Plus, you can have all the mochas with real milk and lots of whip cream you like, since you will be getting a tummy tuck later that day anyway.

Alcohol: Los Angeles is in a total desert, which explains why residents there get overly excited when they see a clear, transparent beverage. This also might explain why Lindsay Lohan drinks martinis like a fish.

Pop Music: We all know that Katy Perry's "California Gurls" is really about Southern California, because where else will you find chicks in "daisy dukes, bikinis on top," to be the norm? Not in San Francisco, where everyone wears gloves and scarves to the beach.

Tech: We all know that the "hip factor" really has nothing to do with what phone you use, but how close you live to Apple's headquarters, and how many times you have read Steve Jobs.

American Literature: This five-minute video of poet Charles Bukowski cursing out his fiancée pretty much sums it up.

Movies: Who would you rather hang out with? Tweens obsessed with emulating a uni-dimensional, insecure, awkward, and boy-crazy girl? Or a bunch of "Dudes" who go bowling, toss profanities like footballs, and drink white russians?

So maybe we are a little biased, but at the end of a foggy San Francisco day, we would at least pick Los Angeles over Stockton.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
