While you might have big plans to be on the prowl at your local bar this weekend, cops will be doing a little prowling of their own.

On Saturday, police will hold a DUI checkpoint at Lombard and Divisadero streets, scanning cars and talking to driver to make sure they aren't hammered or stoned. And yes, driving after downing prescription medication counts.

The sobriety checkpoint starts at 8:30 p.m. and will last through the night. Here's some words of wisdom from Captain Denis O'Leary:

"Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs isn't just a

minor mistake, it's a serious, often violent crime," O'Leary says. "The good news is that it's completely preventable."

It's pretty simple: Don't be an idiot like this guy.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
