Calvin Sneed, Compton Resident, Identified as Man Murdered in Bayview

Medical authorities identified the man who was shot in the head while driving through the Bayview on Sunday evening as 22-year-old Calvin Sneed of Compton.

Sneed was driving near the intersection of Meade and La Conte at about 2 a.m. when someone fired at him, causing Sneed's vehicle to crash into another parked

car, according to police.

Sneed was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died from a gunshot wound to the head. It was the city's 29th homicide this year, said Office Albie Esparza.

Police have no further details about the shooting. However, anyone with information about this incident is asked to
