Artice Jones Stabbed to Death in Western Addition

Medical authorities have identified the man who was murdered in the Western Addition neighborhood on Sunday night as 38-year-old Artice Jones.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Buchanan Street just before 10

p.m. on reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found Jones, a San Francisco resident, had been stabbed to death.

The murder is the city's 15th homicide this year.

Police have made no arrests, and they had no suspect information to give us.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call the Police Department's anonymous tip line at 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
