A 39-year-old man was stabbed to death in the city's Western Addition neighborhood last night.

Medical authorities have not identified the man, and police have very few details to offer at this time. They can tell us that officers were called to the 1100 block of Buchanan Street just before 10 p.m. on reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found the victim dead at the scene.

The murder is the city's 15th homicide this year. On Friday, five people were brutally killed inside their home in the Ingleside neighborhood, which police say was an isolated event. Yesterday, officers arrested 35-year-old Binh Thai Luc on suspicion of killing the family with an "edged weapon" of some sort. They say Luc had some relationship with the victims, but police would not elaborate.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
