Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding 67-year-old George Kohler, a San Francisco cyclist who mysteriously disappeared while walking to his tent at a busy campground in Death Valley last week.

Kohler was last seen on March 12 at about 8 p.m., when he reportedly walked away from the campfire

after telling members of his bicycle tour group that he was tired and was headed back to his tent. But when he didn't show up the next morning, his fellow cyclists checked

his tent, finding his bike and camping gear, but no sign of him.

What's even more unsettling is it looked as though his bed hadn't been slept in, police told The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Kohler was part of a larger cycling group exploring Death Valley National Park. They had stopped for the night at the Mesquite Spring campground at the northern end of the park, about 180 miles northwest of Las Vegas. About 50 people were staying at the campground, which has restrooms, picnic tables, and potable water. Still, it could be easy for someone to get lost in the darkness of the desert, authorities said.

A total of seven local, state, and federal agencies have been searching Kohler; they've deployed rescue dogs on the ground and aircraft from Nellis Air Force Base. "No stone has been left unturned, and they're continuing on," Carma Roper, spokeswoman for the Inyo County Sheriff's Office, told the Journal-Review.

Kohler is a 5-foot-7 male, weighing 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, navy blue T-shirt, and black pants. Anyone who was on the road to Scotty's Castle and might have seen Kohler or gave him a ride should call (760) 878-0383.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
