Medical authorities have identified the man who was stabbed to death yesterday afternoon in the Bayview as 55-year-old Luther Robinson.

Police were called to the intersection of Third Street and Palou, where they found Robinson lying on the street with stab wounds. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died.

Police had very little information on the crime, but were able to tell us that the suspect was a 45-year-old black man.

The stabbing is San Francisco's seventh homicide this year. On Wednesday, police found 30-year-old Derek Hall shot to death in the Bayview District.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
