Sulpicio Jimenez Identified as Pedestrian Killed on Mission Street

Sulpicio Jimenez was hit by a car last night as he tried to walk across Mission Street around 7 p.m., according to police.

Medical authorities identified Jimenez this morning as a 57-year-old Daly City resident. It is not yet know whether he was using the crosswalk at Mission and Excelsior streets. The driver was traveling north on Mission Street when they hit Jimenez.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he died last night.
