A 15-year-old boy was arrested this week and charged with the Aug. 30 murder of  Gaspar Puch-Tzek, a local cook who was shot while taking a smoke break after work.

Police did not release the name of the suspect because he is a juvenile, however, they did confirm that he is a gang member.

Puch-Tzek, 22, was having a cigarette with coworkers just after finishing his shift at Hog and Rocks restaurant on 19th and San Carlos streets when two men in hoodies walked up to them and shot him in the head. The suspects, who are believed to be members of the Norteno gang, had mistaken him for a rival gang member, according to police.

But Puch-Tzek was not a gang member; he was a father who worked two jobs to support his family.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
