It's Tequila Thursday - STEVE BOWBRICK VIA FLICKR

Maybe you are feeling slightly hungover this morning from a night of Wednesday boozing -- just something you did to get over the weekday hump.

But you know what always helps. Another drink.

So forget doubling up on the Advil and coffee today, and just go have a Bloody Mary, because it's National Duck Out for a Drink Day.

The Awl, a New York-based media publication, was kind enough to remind us to mark our calendars for Thursday, Aug. 25 as that one day a year when it's okay for hard-working Americans who have used up all their vacation time to surreptitiously ditch the office to get a brief buzz.

"Yes, that's right, at some point during that day you and some friendly

colleagues should slip out of the office for a quick shot and a beer."

Bring some gum.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
