Mayor Ed Lee Shares a Laugh with Willie Brown: What's So Funny?

Posted By on Thu, Jul 21, 2011 at 12:00 PM

If Mayor Ed Lee is getting great at anything, it's keeping his political mystique going. Will he run for mayor? Who knows, and just for now, let's say who cares -- and have some fun with it.

You don't have to be paying much attention to City Hall to know that Mayor Lee pals around with former Mayor Willie Brown and Chinatown powerbroker Rose Pak. Don't you wish you could be a fly on the wall for those conversations?

Well, here's your chance.

Below is a photo of Lee, Brown, and Pak sharing a laugh at a North Beach restaurant. We will never know what was said during that feast, so why make it up? Please fill in the blanks for us. Go ahead and use the comment section below to write what you think the caption should say.

Be creative and classy, but do tell us -- what is so funny?

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
