Fire in the Lower Haight: Slideshow

Smoke billowed from the Lower Haight neighborhood Wednesday evening as firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze at a residential building along Waller Street near Duboce Park.

The fire started in the back part of the building and rapidly spread to the attic. As of 9 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters had the flames under control. An SF Weekly contributor snapped some photos.
