Several San Francisco men were arrested as part of a major marijuana bust in San Mateo County, dubbed the "mighty mites" pot grow. Authorities seized more than 1,400 pot plants and more than $450,000 worth of marijuana, according to media outlets.

The bust was the culmination of a nine-month investigation in San Mateo County, where narcotics authorities unveiled four major grow operations, which police believe were strictly for-profit ventures.

Police arrested eight men who they say are part of a larger Asian drug-trafficking circle, including four men from San Francisco.

In addition, police seized 55 pounds of harvested marijuana and more than $47,000 in purported drug profits. They also found six guns at one of the homes. Police dubbed the grow "mighty mites" after investigators saw infestations of spider mites on the plants.

Police arrested Steven Pham, 25; Tue Pham, 37; Marvin Pham, 27;

and Brian Wong, 31, all of San Francisco, as well as Nam Nguyen, 29; Danny

Nguyen, 22; Bong Nguyen, 51; and Donna Quach, 28, all of Daly City. The men were arrested on various drug charges.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
