A Conversation Between Alex Tourk and Dennis Herrera Part 2 (Video)

Posted By on Thu, May 12, 2011 at 11:30 AM

Last week, SF Weekly featured an animated clip that gave us a satisfying sense of what the conversation was probably like between City Attorney Dennis Herrera and his troubled campaign consultant Alex Tourk after the news broke that Tourk was illegally lobbying his own clients.

Although it provided no hard-hitting angles to the story, it was definitely an entertaining take on the high-profile news.

Since then, Tourk has resigned from Herrera's mayoral campaign, and quit working on George Gascón's campaign for district attorney. It didn't take long for someone to send SF Weekly yet another video spoof, but this time showing what the conversation might have been like when Tourk told Herrera he was quitting.

This one might even be funnier!

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
