Brian Sussman, Talk Radio Host, Says Obama's Birth Certificate Is 'Doctored'

KSFO morning blowhard Brian Sussman's job is to sell three products: gold and ProFlowers, and his own watery vintage of America's last fully home-grown product: made-up outrage at everything purportedly liberal.

This morning, President Barack Obama released that "long-form birth certificate" people like Sussman have long been demanding. And guess what? After eyeballing a PDF of it during a commercial break, Sussman was prepared to call it "doctored" and to declare Obama's press conference "sickening."

Immediately after that, Sussman said: "These are valid questions. That's what we do here, ask questions."

Since we know Snitch readers have better things to do than try to catch

Sussman's opinions in between the 30 minutes or so of commercials

that fatten each hour of his show, here's a quick rundown of his questions and concerns:

1. "If it was in some kind of bound volume, how can the green-patterned background be so seamless?"

2. "If Obama was born on August 4, 1961, why is the date the birth certificate was accepted by the registrar August 8? And why did his mother sign it August 7?"

3. "There's no Hawaii state seal." (We know this is not so much a question as it is a half-assed complaint from someone with no training in document authentication. But ... still.)

4. On the doctor's signature, "The 'MD' is scribbled in there in a strange way."

5. "Mysterious smudges"

(Hey, they got Clinton on that one, too!)

By this point I had stopped taking careful notes because it was clear I was putting more thought into Sussman's words than he was. Anyway, Sussman argues that the registrar's hard-to-read signature looks like the word "ukulele" but is not spelled exactly like "ukulele."

In between these objections, Sussman was careful to remind us, again, that he is just "asking questions." He also decried Obama's press conference as "sickening" because the president had "politicized" the entirely unpolitical issue of cynical media personalities riling up xenophobes with fake controversy about a dark-skinned American's perceived otherness.

Later, on his blog, which is really weirdly hard to find on KSFO's home page, Sussman posted other objections and even raised his rhetorical stakes: Now he flat-out calls the birth certificate a forgery.

That ought to sell some flowers!

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
