Video: Man Sets Himself on Fire at Adult Bookstore in SOMA

Posted By on Thu, Apr 21, 2011 at 2:45 PM

Readers have had nonstop curiosity about last week's incident where a man set himself on fire at a adult bookstore near Mission and Sixth Streets.

The unidentified man is still in the hospital with life-threatening injuries so police tell us they still don't have the full story as to why he set himself ablaze while watching a film inside a booth.

But here is a video that shows the tragic incident.

Soon after, firefighters saw him, extinguished the flames, and took the man to St. Francis Memorial Hospital's Bothin Burn Center, where he remains in critical condition.
