A 25-year-old man was shot to death inside a cafe in broad daylight.

Police were called to the 900 block of Polk at Geary Boulevard at about 424 p.m. after there were reports of a shooting. The man, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Michael Andraychak.

The shooter fled the scene.

Investigators would not confirm the name of the cafe, but media reports say the shooting happened at Jebena Coffee & Tea Company, which is located at the 990 Polk Street.

The shooting is San Francisco's sixth homicide this year and the first since Joe Olivares Hernandez was beaten to death at Temple Nightclub Sunday.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
