Media reports are saying that Stanford football coach Jim Harbaugh has been hired to coach the San Francisco 49ers.

Recent Tweets indicate that the 49ers will hold a press conference at 3:30 San Francisco's Palace Hotel, presumably to announce the five-year, $25 million deal with Harbaugh.

The news ends a week of speculation about Harbaugh's future.
