  • You think he was there for the trophy or the supes meeting?

The confluence of the current Board of Supervisors' final meeting and a two-day stopover by the Giants' World Series trophy portends for large crowds in City Hall over the next several days. Expect lots of wild clothing and boisterous speechifying -- but, then, that's public comment during the supes meetings for you.

The trophy will be on public display from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. If history is a precedent, if you display it, they will come.

Following this week's City Hall stopover, the trophy begins -- cue the banjo music -- a cross-country tour. Here's the itinerary:

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
