Nancy Pelosi may no longer count herself the leader of Old Democrats -- thanks to an election that ceded the House to Republicans. But her family today captured leadership of the Young Democrats.

The House minority leader's daughter, Christine Pelosi, today was named interim executive director of Young Democrats of America.

The younger Pelosi, 42, isn't exactly young, having been a deputy San Francisco district attorney, an assistant city attorney, executive director of the California (Old) Democratic Party, and, lately, a trainer for aspiring leaders in the nonprofit and political worlds. Little-known fact: For $395, pretty much any person who wants to can take public leadership classes from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's Daughter at the U.C. Berkeley extension.

That's for 10 three-hour classes! A rate of only $13 per hour!.

For purposes of comparison, Clairaudient Readings Sessions with Gavin Newsom's Reille-Hunter-Like personal spiritual adviser Carol Simone cost $250 for one hour, $200 for 45 minutes, $150 for 30 minutes-- and you don't learn anything about leading the public. It's just metaphysics and shamanism and personal transformation..

No wonder the Young Democrats think Christine Pelosi is a good deal.

The younger Pelosi appears poised to follow in the footsteps of recently

retired National (Old) Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean, who had been

mocked by other Democrats for a supposedly money-wasting 50-state

strategy that ultimately became a template for Barack Obama's

presidential victory.

"We plan to hit the ground running with a 50-state strategy of YDA

boot camps for Young Democrats to ensure they have the tools and

resources necessary to make a difference in their communities," Christine Pelosi said Friday.

In 2004, Dean also articulated a 50-state strategy.

"We're going to South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota

and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York ...

And we're going to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan,

and then we're going to Washington, D.C.," he said. "Yeeaggghheeeeiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhh!"

Pelosi, however, is not known to be a screamer.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
