Yesterday, a rain-related six-car crash slowed Bay Bridge traffic to a crawl. Today it was fog.

But on Nov. 11, it was something wholly other. Craig Carlos-Valentino is charged with pulling over his black SUV on the westbound upper deck during the peak of commute hours, waving about a pistol, and threatening to blow up his car and leap off the bridge due to allegations his wife had cuckolded him.

That led to hours-long delays for Bay Bridge commuters -- and a lengthy legal odyssey for Carlos-Valentino, an Antioch man who worked as a bouncer in the city, and will be in court this morning for his preliminary hearing.

Carlos-Valentino, 52, faces a bevy of charges -- with many stemming from the presence of his teenage daughter in the vehicle:

one felony count in violation of Penal Code section 207, kidnapping; one felony count in violation of Penal Code section 236, false imprisonment; one felony count in violation of Penal Code section 273a(a), child endangerment; one felony count in violation of Penal Code section 148.1(a), false bomb threat; one misdemeanor count in violation of Penal Code section 417(a)(2), brandishing a firearm; one misdemeanor count in violation of Penal Code section 148(a)(1), resisting, delaying a California Highway Patrol Officer; and one misdemeanor count in violation of Vehicle Code section 14601.1(a), driving on a suspended California license.

Carlos-Valentino has been incarcerated since the Nov. 11 incident. Bail is set at $750,000. The gavel is scheduled to drop this morning at 9 a.m. -- unless, you know, there's an unforeseen delay.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
