Police have arrested five suspects in the wake of a spate of robberies via pepper spray that took place in the city last week.
Five different pepper spray robberies were reported on Wednesday and Thursday nights throughout the city. The San Francisco Police claim via a release that two adults and three juveniles were arrested for the attacks over the weekend.
Jalil Leon Jones, 27, of Hayward, and Troyetta Carpenter, 18, of San Francisco, were booked for robbery, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, probation violation, and possession of methamphetamine. Also taken into custody were three juvenile suspects, all from San Francisco.
Officers located the suspects' vehicle -- presumably the 1993 Saturn mentioned in earlier reports -- and also recovered some of the items reported stolen.
Police are still seeking witnesses to these or other pepper spray attacks.
