Arson Suspect In Custody following Tenderloin Fire

A suspect is in custody following an Sunday morning fire that gutted a Tenderloin apartment building.

Several apartments were gutted by the two-alarm, 8 a.m. blaze at 550 Leavenworth. It is not yet clear if the suspected arsonist is a resident at the building. No injuries are reported, but more than two dozen residents are scrambling for shelter following the fire.
