If you commute to work via BART, today is an attitude check for you. Will news that the system's trains are running half an hour late induce you to get out of the house that much earlier? Or do you now have time for that extra cup of coffee?

In any event, your shot commute stems from a 4:42 a.m. incident in which an airport-bound train hit a stretch of tracks between 24th Street Station and Glen Park with no power. That problem was remedied within two hours, which likely resulted in more than a few missed flights and "residual delays" of up to half an hour or more.

The cause of the outage is unknown.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
