This poster popped up not too far from the Weekly offices (and also not too far from a pile of perfectly good, unused condoms. A coincidence? We think not.)

What's up with Ill Eagle? Ironic nerd glasses are so 2008, but bangin' chains are always in, so we guess he's pretty ill.

A quick Google of Ill Eagle turns up one Ohio rapper, one Canadian punk band, and this rather vitriolic Urban Dictionary entry:

1. ill-eagle:

A group of wannabe musicians who couldn't gain any popularity by virtue

of their music so they vandalized private and public property by

plastering stickers all over other people's neighborhoods.

"Oh man! Our music sucks and nobody likes us! I

know! Let's Ill-Eagle up some nice neighborhoods because we're

untalented scum from the gutter and we'll never get noticed any other

way!"

Ouch.

Maybe the Obama/Joker poster people have turned their attentions towards less divisive imagery?

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
