San Francisco Police yesterday responded to a traffic collision on the 100 block of Dakota and discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at San Francisco General Hospital.

This morning the city medical examiner's office told SF Weekly the dead man was 38-year-old Charles Eason, home city unknown.

The case is currently categorized as "death, cause to be determined" by the SFPD. We note, once more, that Eason died of multiple gunshot wounds.
