Sadly, it seems that June is off with a bang -- literally.

While the city's homicide total of 20 is less than half what it was at this time last year, the latest two victims came only hours -- and roughly a mile -- apart.

At around 10 p.m. last night, 30-year-old Emanuel Evans was shot dead not far from the intersection of Middle Point Road and Willis Street in Bayview. Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
