What's the Funniest Thing about Gavin Newsom's SUV Being Hit by a MUNI Bus?

Oh, choices choices.

Personally, I like the fact that the city's "Transit First" policy is finally getting some teeth.

But there are so many other reasons this story can put a smile in your heart.

It's really the perfect symbol for both (a) the Newsom Administration and (b) MUNI.

The fact that Newsom expressly justified getting this vehicle for security purposes is also pretty damn hilarious, when you think about it.

The fact that it happened while he was conducting a campaign interview also strikes me as worth a chuckle.

The fact that this is probably the most attention Gavin has paid to transit issues since becoming Mayor is pretty priceless.

I'm sure there's lots - feel free to suggest anything I've missed. --Benjamin Wachs

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
