Obamamites: Get Your Party On

Why watch Barack Obama's acceptance speech tomorrow by your lonesome when you can do it drunk with dozens of like-minded folk? For those of us who couldn't make it to Denver for the DNC, here are a couple of local party options:

The California Democratic Party's SF Acceptance Speech Party

Where: Hyatt Regency, 5 Embarcadero Center, Grand Ballroom

When: Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

RSVP? You'll need a ticket for this one.

"I Accept" Obama Nomination Speech Watching Party

Where: Roe Restaurant, 651 Howard Street

When: 5:00 p.m.

Where: Fina Estampa Peruvian Restaurant on Van Ness at Geary, 1100 Van Ness Avenue at Geary Street

When: 5:30 p.m.
