In an alarming development, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to be stockpiling weapons. The Chronicle reported Tuesday that Schwarzenegger "…told Bush administration officials Monday that he is tired of the Pentagon treating the California National Guard like a stepchild…" and he wants his humvees and radios back. (Sidenote: Stepchild?) Since 9/11, the national government has borrowed about half of the California National Guard's equipment and failed to give it back. The same day, the Mercury News reported that Schwarzenegger asked an Ohio military museum to return an Austrian tank to him that had been on loan for eight years. "He's going to have it closer to home, in California, so he can enjoy it," said the museum founder, ominously. This can only mean one thing. The Governator is planning some kind of full-scale attack. My bet's on Mexico. –Andy Wright
