There's a reason I don't get any movie channels on cable: I work at home and having 700 different HBO channels on TV will bring my work productivity to zero. A year ago I experienced it while watching Seabiscuit...for the third time...in Spanish. However, today, Netflix announced that they're allowing all subscribers a chance to watch as many movies as they can get their PC's on for free. Now if you're like me and don't have a PC because we're snobs, you can read this and learn how to get the best of both worlds by running Windows on your Mac, which is kind of like turning your computer into a big slut for operating systems. —James Y Lee

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
