Cindy Sheehan For Congress, John Lennon Shot Dead: Connect The Dots

Posted By on Mon, Dec 10, 2007 at 9:00 AM

In her unending quest to bring our boys and girls home from Iraq, and, more recently, her quest for Nancy Pelosi's head on a silver platter (and Pelosi's seat in Congress), anti-war activist and bereaved mother Cindy Sheehan has opened her official campaign headquarters right here in San Francisco, at 1260 Mission Street.

Oddly, SF Bay Area Indymedia goes on to remind us that Sheehan headquarters grand opening coincided with the 27th anniversary of John Lennon's assassination in New York City, which is significant why? I'm just saying. (via Indymedia)

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
