The Associated Press reports that ESPN and Fox may try to broadcast more Giants’ games as Ol’ Moon Head approaches Hank Aaron’s all-time home run mark. What does this mean for the nation’s Barry apologists, Barry bashers, and Barry for-the-love-of-God-just-please-go-away hordes? Here are a few possibilities:

Silence the Violence -- or else!

A couple weeks ago, I was at City Hall to report on the Club 6 public hearing. Wandering the crowded hallway was a group of thuggish looking dudes rocking tall T’s that read: “It takes the hood to save the hood.” Curious, I went to see what they were all about. They were members from United Playaz, a gang-violence prevention squad based in SF whose credo is, “It takes a thug to save a thug.”

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
