Berkeley rapper Lil B drops his second mixtape of 2015, the three-disc, 63-track project, Thugged Out/Pissed Off. It's downloadable for free, which is always a nice treat, and features plenty of the playful, old-school style of jams that Based God fans know and love. Noteworthy songs, include: "Stephen Hawking," sung in the vein of his earlier track, "Ellen Degeneres;" "BasedGod," Lil B's version of Future and Drake's "Jumpman;" "4 Tha Record," a diss on The Weeknd; "NY Cab Won't Stop," an ode to the East Coast; and "Domestic Violence Case," which tackles, well, domestic violence.

Oakland-based hip-hop collective, Hieroglyphics, introduces their own emoji pack through the Emoji Fame app. The emoji pack, which can be purchased through the Apple App Store, consists of a little over a dozen emojis, that include, a blunt, the West Coast hand signal, a "420," and multiple three-eyed emojis.

Other celebrity emoji packs that were released this week include Kim Kardashian's Kimojis (which briefly "broke" the App Store) and Fetty Wap's emojis that, appropriately enough, feature an emoji with a missing eye.

LCD Soundsystem fans rejoice! The band has announced that they've not only reunited, but that they'll be headlining the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in 2016.

It's been five years since the New York rock band performed their last show at Madison Square Garden on February 8, 2011. It's also been five years since they've released any new music, but the Grammy nominated band broke that stretch on Christmas Eve of this year with the release of their holiday-themed song, "Christmas Will Break Your Heart." If their final Madison Square Garden show was any indication (tickets sold out immediately), the same will probably happen with Coachella, so make sure to get your tickets stat!

Apple might be launching multiple Beats radio stations. The tech giant has applied to trademark B1, B2, B3, B4, and B5, as well as Beats One, Beats Two, Beats Three, Beats Four, and Beats Five. The trademarks are assigned to "Beats Electronics, LLC," and each has the same logo as the one used for Beats 1. Their application is under review by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, but if they pass (and let's be honest, they probably will), this will mean more online radio stations covering a broader array of genres in the near future.

New Jersey hip-hop collective, Naughty By Nature, is making their self-titled album, as well as remixes and unreleased material, available for free download for the next 25 hours. The Grammy Award-winning crew, which formed way back in 1988, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album in 2016, and will be celebrating with a 26-city tour and a new EP. The free downloads is available at their website, www.naughtybynature.com, and requires an email address to get the goods.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
