A fundraising event to benefit the family of Mario Woods, the Hunters Point man who was shot by police on Dec. 2, will be taking place at Elbo Room on Wednesday, Dec. 23. Woods, who was 26-years-old, is the latest black victim to be shot and killed by police, who used 20 bullets to bring him down. Live performances from Bay Area rappers, The Grouch, Mac Mall, and members of Heiroglyphics, will be part of the event, as well as stand-up comedy. The Woods family is also taking proceeds through a Go Fund Me campaign to pay for Mario's funeral and burial.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
