A Yawn Worth Yelling is a four-piece, San Jose-based band formed in 2011. Tyler (lead vocals), Brayden (lead guitarist), Johannes (bass), and Taylor (drums) started the group while they were still in high school. Live 105 recently dubbed the band's song "Start Somewhere" as one of the 15 best local songs of the summer. And although summer is over, the ukulele playing in this song will make you feel like you're on a tropical beach. The band's outfits, on the other hand, will make you feel like you're watching a group of friends at a Mission District party who decided to pick up a few instruments and jam out.

The song (and video) deals with the concept of accepting love regardless of the consequences of outside perception. Who can't get behind that?

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
