Sad news and happy news at the same time to report here.

Rockin U.K. band Wolf Alice will be playing Friday's 4:30 p.m. slot at the Panhandle Stage now. The band will be filling in for Alvvays, who got hankered down with visa issues when trying to leave their home in Canada.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
