Got a case of the Mondays? On your third cup of coffee but still can't wake up? Oh wait, sorry, that's us.

If you're in the same Monday boat, go ahead and treat your ears to a little musical caffeine in the form of a new split 7-inch from a pair of S.F.'s pre-eminent post-punks, Creative Adult and Wild Moth. The record's out Jan. 27 on Broke Hatrè, but to announce that it's available for pre-order, the dudes decided to stream the thing a few weeks early; it premiered today on Brooklyn Vegan. Bonus: Pre-ordered records come with a sweet t-shirt that lets people know exactly where your favorite punk is from

Give both tracks a listen below: Creative Adult's gauzy vocals and psych-garage guitar riffs lead nicely into a grungey, bass-driven nugget from Wild Moth. Creative Adult plays 924 Gilman Jan. 31 and Hemlock Feb. 19. Wild Moth just wrapped up a West Coast tour, and say they're laying low for a minute — but stay tuned

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
