Ah, that's better. We knew something was missing from this World Series — it was a highly specific and topical Bay Area hip-hop anthem and accompanying video about this season's Giants roster. Ideally one that, despite its fast-approaching expiration date (considering our impending win tonight), can be joyfully and stubbornly bumped out of car windows for at least the next week or two.

What's that? You want a shoutout to Bryan Stow and a Robin Williams cheer-turned-sample in the last minute of the track? Well, the Hippy Mobb — that'd be locals Equipto, BaldHead Rick, Shag Nasty, Aukwin, Curt Sak, and Ike P — have you covered. Here's "Yes Yes Yes" in all its baseball-drunk glory.

We know this much: It's a hell of a lot better than anything the guy from Staind has done lately. (Ever?)
Be safe out there tonight, kids.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
