  • See you there.

On a sunny Saturday in July, do you have anything better to do than sit in a park while bands, some of them local, some of them nationally famous, attempt to entertain you? We doubt it. Phono Del Sol is becoming the biggest little music festival of the San Francisco summer, with acts like Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Wye Oak, and Nick Waterhouse. And today, we have set times for this weekend's gathering at Potrero Del Sol Park -- times you can use to plan your beer-buying, skateboard-trick-watching, food-truck-line-waiting, and whatever you do while Muni never comes. Here they are, along with a playlist of artists performing at the festival (compiled by festival promoter and local music blog The Bay Bridged):

Tickets to Phono Del Sol are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. The music/skate/sun-agazna starts around noon this Saturday, July 12.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
