Davenport, a longtime Bay Area musician, apparently gained experience with the dickishness of notoriety through his recent move to L.A. So in "Fuck Fame," over chiming New Wave guitars and an easygoing backbeat, Davenport plays the jerk: forcing his assistant to take notes, cruising disinterestedly through a supermarket, seeking attention in the bar. It makes for a funny clip. Just don't let the perks of fame attract you.
