If you've ever wanted to work for a successful independent musician and a tech start-up all at once, your ship has just come in. Patreon, a crowdfunding and artist-support startup led by Pomplamoose's Jack Conte, is hiring an office manager/administrative assistant that will work for the company, Conte, and Pomlamoose, the musical YouTube sensation of which he is one half.
Patreon is ongoing crowdfunding for creators, and we're looking for a full time office administrator with a soft spot for the arts! Even though we've only been live a few months, our 10,000+ creators have already gained the attention of Forbes, Bloomberg, Billboard, and Techcrunch. We raised $2.1 million in venture capital this August, including backing from the co-founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian.
But yes, even though you'd be working for the tech start-up, you'd also be the administrative assistant for Conte and Pomplamoose, according to the ad. And the job is right here in S.F.
Duties include use of the all the usual web applications, social media, dealing with the press (which, sorry), and hourly kazoo solos.
Just kidding about the last one, but you never know with the kind of people who make a rap video about their office. (Or, wait, does everyone in tech make a rap video about their office now?)
