Noise Pop, S.F.'s O.G. homegrown independent music festival, is turning of age next year -- 21 years old, if you can believe it. (We certainly can, having covered the shit out of Noise Pop's 20th Anniversary last year.) So cancel those Caribbean getaways and late-February ski trips, kids, 'cause there's sure to be a crazy week of live music in the city come Feb. 26.

Until then, read this awesome interview Jay Howell did with Fecal Face back in 2007, and enjoy the boners.

Yes, we said boners.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
