As we reminded you last week, the organizers of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass are once again unveiling the festival lineup as a kind of quiz, by posting medleys of this year's performers online and letting fans take a guess. With two sets of song clips out now -- and the official answers posted on the HSB website -- we've got a solid chunk of the Hardly Strictly 2012 lineup to check out.

Spoiler alert: If you want to guess who's playing by listening to the music, listen to the audio samples. Below is a list of the the artists we now know are playing Hardly Strictly 2012:

The Del McCoury Band

Jerry Douglas

Steve Earle & The Dukes (and Duchesses)

O'Brien Party of 7

Giant Giant Sand

Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys

Dirty Three

Red Baraat

The Head and The Heart

Buddy Miller

Patterson Hood & the Downtown Rumblers

Chris Robinson Brotherhood

Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands

Elvis Costello Solo

Glen Hansard

Chuck Prophet & the Mission Express

Lloyd Cole

Peter Rowan

Dwight Yoakam

Looks good to us -- we're excited for Lloyd Cole, Rubblebucket, and Chuck Prophet especially. Remember: there are still two more song medleys to go, and who knows how many more artists to be added to the lineup. Hardly Strictly 2012 runs this Oct. 5-7 in Golden Gate Park, and is, of course, totally free.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
