Hear Ashkon's Awesome 49ers Anthem, "Niners in Paris"

Posted By on Thu, Jan 19, 2012 at 3:38 PM

You almost certainly remember "Don't Stop Believing," Ashkon Davaran's Journey-flipping S.F. Giants anthem from 2010.

Well, the master of S.F. sports remixes is at it again: He just dropped "That Smith Cray," a 49ers jam based on Jay-Z and Kanye West's ubiquitous "Ni**as in Paris." The man behind it should tell you all you need to know, but let us assure you: Hearing Yeezy lines turned into 49ers boasts -- "They said you ain't winning nothing, not at all/ I guess you better be careful what you call" -- is worth the price of admission on its own.

Listen to Ashkon's "Niners in Paris" and grab a download after the jump.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
